This method is mainly used in lakes and rivers, but it can also be done in the sea. In the Campeche lagoon, in the Biosphere of Sian Ka’an, fly fishing season runs from October-November ‘till July. The species of fish anglers love to catch the most are bonefishes, permits, tarpons and snooks. In shallow waters, swimming over a sandy bottom, bonefishes look for permits in low flat areas, only two or three feet deep. On the contrary, tarpons hide in the mangroves of the lagoon. According to the fishes you’d like to catch, you can do fly fishing in the following months: in October and November there are plenty of bonefishes, permits, snooks and some baby tarpons. In December, January and February you’ll find lot of local bonefishes, permits, tarpons and barracudas. April, May, June and July offer a big number of permits, the most difficult fish to catch. If you’re experienced enough, you might try to do the “Big Slam”: catching a bonefish, permit and tarpon in the same day. It includes: private Taxi for pick up and Drop off from your hotel to Sian Ka’an; Boat for 2 - 4 people; fishing equipment; guided fishing with local fishermen; 4 or 8 hours trolling with fishing rods and live baits; soft drinks and beer.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations should be carried out at least 24 hours before the date of your booked tour. In case of a no-show on the day of the tour, your deposit will be no refund. If you'll change the day of the Tour after the No Show, you are welcome !!
